Concordia University 安阿伯’s theatre department strives to develop artists who use the stage as a tool to expound on their individual creativity to form stories into lasting performances that inspire and positively connect with the community.

A Musical Theatre Minor supports the mission of CUAA by strengthening one’s faith, 信念, and action by developing necessary critical thinking, 沟通, and interpersonal relationship skills needed for service in the church, 世界, and professional vocations. Theatre courses fulfill this by building a community of artists and creative thinkers who are working at increasing their 沟通 and performance skills, as well as teambuilding and problem solving that can be applied to their personal and professional lives. The critical analysis that is involved in all the Music and Theatre courses is exceptional in enhancing one’s ability to self-express and examine the thoughts/behaviors of others as they relate to themselves and others.

学生 will be nurtured by our dedicated faculty and staff while having the opportunity for a range of theatrical experiences including; productions in the Black Box Theatre, outreach travel productions, drama 部 productions, opportunities to attend professional performances, 还有更多.
学生 entering the fields of teaching, 部, 教育, 业务, and even the medical sciences will find the skills developed in theatre courses and theatre productions will enhance their speaking abilities and increase their effectiveness in communicating the written word to an audience.
